WANTED: 2D ANIMATION SUPERVISOR (AMAZING WORLD OF GUMBALL)

Cartoon Network is looking for an experienced 2D ANIMATION SUPERVISOR to work on Season 2 of THE AMAZING WORLD OF GUMBALL (40 x 11 minutes).

Principle Responsibility:
The Animation Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of 8 in-house animators who will be producing all of the key frame animation for the Series. They will ensure that their animation is on model and that the performance is consistent across the whole team. They will also be expected to be heavily involved in daily communication with the out of house studio who will be completing animation. Responsibilities will include reviewing dailies, assigning scenes, following up on directorial comments and providing guidance to animators on staging, pacing and acting. The nature of the show will mean that the supervisor will need to adapt to a wide variety of stylised & unique characters.

The Role Requires: The supervisor should be accustomed to working within tight production schedules and be able to highlight any areas of concern in good time to the production team. Experience as a 2D Animation Supervisor on long form television series is required. Experience of working with out of house animation studios would be an advantage. Effective communication skills and a talent for people and project management. Able to meet tight deadlines and work to budget.
