# Registering

When you click on the Superbuy links I provide, Superbuy will first ask you to register.
I can't help it, this is how Superbuy website works, where you have to be registered and logged in to see certain pages, including the product pages.

I only reference legal products, and whose sellers are official stores (and often publishers) of these products.




# How to buy on Superbuy?

- Superbuy works like all other proxy purchasing services (intermediaries between consumers and online retailers) : you first pay for the item (Superbuy is responsible for purchasing it for you), then after the item has arrived at Superbuy warehouse, you pay the shipping costs to send the item to your home.

- If for any reason the product does not arrive at Superbuy warehouse, Superbuy will refund you.

- When the product arrives at Superbuy warehouse, Superbuy takes 3 photos of the product (free service), which it makes available to you in your customer account, so that you can verify that it's indeed the product you ordered (otherwise, you can make a complaint).

- Superbuy cannot know, at the time of purchase, the exact weight of the item(s) you order. This is why you pay the shipping costs later, when the product has arrived at Superbuy (and has been weighed by them, as well as confirmed as ok by you).

- Superbuy stores the products they purchase for you for free for up to 90 days. You therefore don't have to make 1 package for 1 item. You can wait, and make grouped packages. That's also why you pay shipping later.
Please note, however, that some carriers only accept packages up to a certain weight (e.g. 5kg for packages sent via "Tax-Free" lines).

- Superbuy offers a very large number of shipping methods / lines / carriers. They also offer an online "shipping simulator", freely accessible, to estimate shipping costs:

You must fill in the following fields: Country, Warehouse ("Guangdong"), Weight, Item Category ("Common items" > "Common items" for books, for example).

- Superbuy notifies you by email when a product arrives at their warehouse, and you can of course find the tracking, photos, etc of each order in your customer account.

- Concerning the payment methods that Superbuy accepts: Paypal, Credit card, Stripe, Wise, Google Pay, Apple Pay, bank transfers, etc.

Please also note that certain payment methods are available when paying for your items or shipping costs, but not for "Top-Up" your Superbuy balance. But there is no need to have previously loaded your Superbuy balance to pay for the items and shipping costs, you can be at "0" (and just pay at the time of ordering, then shipping).

- Regarding package protection, Superbuy also offers additional services (paid options). But be aware that in the basic (free) packaging service, they still protect the products, by sealing them in plastic envelopes, and adding bubble wrap.

- If the final weight of the package, once sent to you, turns out to be less than the estimated weight of the package for which you paid, Superbuy will systematically reimburse you the difference a few days after sending, by crediting the amount to your balance.
Indeed, when you pay to have a package sent to your home, Superbuy knows the weight of the products, but not yet the weight of the final package (with cardboard, packaging and protection, etc). They estimate the final weight, you pay, then once sent they know the final package weight, and therefore reimburse any possible differences.

# A few tips

- When you make a request to purchase an item from Superbuy, choose "Guangdong" as destination/warehouse (and not Hong Kong, wich is not interesting - and often more expensive - for foreign customers).

- For the shipping method, and packages weighing less than 5kg, I recommend choosing one of the options called "Tax-Free", which allow you not to pay customs fees (and carrier administrative fees...) when the package arrives at your home (because the VAT will have already been paid).
For France, for example, "Tax-Free" packages are ultimately delivered by Colissimo.
Please note, some carriers are dedicated to certain types of products, carefully read the descriptions / informations of each carrier which is displayed when choosing the shipping method when requesting a package to be sent to you (and also in the simulator mentioned above).

- After the item(s) you have ordered have arrived at Superbuy, and when you request a package to be sent to your home with these products, two options are available to you:
1) request the help of a "Shipping Expert" to advise you on a shipping method (paid service)
2) or choose yourself, to do this click on "Submit", then you will have access to the list of all shipping methods, and you can choose the one you want.

- It's sometimes not easy to see/know how quickly a purchased item will be shipped by the seller to Superbuy. In the case of slightly long delays, or pre-orders, don't worry, if after a few days after purchase the package is still not shipped, Superbuy will contact the seller (without you even asking) to have information on the waiting time for sending. And Superbuy will update your order tracking info accordingly.

- Superbuy very regularly offers promotional codes & coupons, which they communicate on their website and by email.
Also, sometimes other special discount codes (especially for shipping) are offered on their Reddit page. Currently these codes are mainly shared here on Reddit. But if this page becomes obsolete, simply check the Reddit Superbuy homepage, the topic with the active promo codes is usually pinned at the top.
Note : you can't use at the same time a coupon and a discount code.

- Concerning the amounts of shipping costs : China>China (seller > Superbuy)
They are often free, included in the sale price of the products. If not, it's usually cheap anyway.

- Concerning the amounts of shipping costs : international (Superbuy > you)
They may seem expensive, but this is the case for many international shipping costs since the recent crises. And shipping from China internationally is never "cheap" (imagine the distance a package must first travel just to get out of China, which is a fairly huge country).
It should also be noted that a Superbuy commission is included in the amount of shipping costs you ultimately pay. Indeed, Superbuy obviously doesn't do all this for free. Especially since they generally take little or no commission during the first stage of an order (purchasing the product).
Afterwards, if the shipping costs cost money, on the other hand, you'll see that the official sale prices of products in China are not expensive (at all).

- Superbuy's interface is entirely in English, and their support team obviously speaks English too. Do not hesitate to contact them, they generally respond within 24 hours.

- However, English translations of product titles are often a bit... hazardous. Because Superbuy does not sell these products, it's an intermediary who get products informations from Chinese sales sites, and generate automatic translations. But if you click on the products pages/links I provide, you will be sure to buy the products I recommend.
