NEWS
Le tout dernier script de feu Akira Kurosawa (maître du cinéma japonais qu'on ne présente plus) sera adapté en long-métrage d'animation au japon. Il s'agit de The Mask of the Black Death, qu'il avait co-écrit avec Masato Ide (Kagemusha, Ran), en s'inspirant de The Masque of the Red Death d'Edgar Allan Poe. Produit par Lotus, Lexicon Film Entertainment, Harbor Light Entertainment, et Upside Down Entertainment, ce film est prévu pour 2010.
Au regard du visuel promo affiché sur le site www.masqueofblackdeath.com, ce sera peut-être en 3D...

A noter qu'une adaptation animée de l'oeuvre de Poe existe déjà, réalisée en amateur par Jean Monset et Tim. Voir en ligne.
