Plus aucune nouvelle n'avait été donnée depuis l'annonce il y a 8 ans pour cette série française basée sur le manga d'Osamu Tezuka.
Mais il semble donc que le projet soit reparti, avec un nouveau réalisateur, Thomas Astruc (Ladybug), et en co-production avec Method Animation.

La saison 3 sera écrite par de nouveaux auteurs issus du stand-up comme Djimo, Djamil le Shlag, Tokou Bogui ou encore Benjamin Tranié.
Le film sera écrit par les auteurs originaux Boris Dolivet (El Diablo), Alexis Dolivet et IZM (Ismael Sy Savane). Le réalisateur n'est pas encore confirmé, mais on me murmure qu'il pourrait aussi s'agir d'un des réals originels ;-]

Quel plaisir de vous partager la toute première bande annonce de Scavengers Reign, projet de Joe Bennett et Charles Huettner chez Titmouse dont je vous avais déjà parlé en 2018 (c'était à l'origine un court métrage de 2017) et qui va enfin exister sous forme de série pour HBO Max, avec une sortie prévue en 2023.
Benjy Brooke assure le poste de supervising director, avec Chris Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, Shannon Prynoski, et Ben Kalina en producteurs exécutifs chez Titmouse, épaulés de Sean Buckelew et James Merrill via Green Street Pictures.
The surviving crew of a damaged deep space freighter who are stranded on a beautiful yet unforgiving planet. They begin to learn the true nature of this planet as they try to survive long enough to escape or be rescued.
