Et ce trailer dévoile que le character-designer principal de la série est / était l'artiste coréen Kim Jung Gi, décédé malheureusement l'an dernier.
A noter également que l'acteur (disparu de longue date) Toshiro Mifune a lui servi de base d'inspiration pour le personnage de Toshiro Mifune dans la série.

Le studio américain Chromosphere vient d'annoncer la diffusion prochaine d'une 2e saison de leur web série Yuki 7, autoproduite notamment grace à une subvention d'Epic Games, et utilisant le moteur 3D Unreal Engine 5.
Toujours basé sur le personnage créé jadis par Kevin Dart (sous forme de deux trailers ainsi que deux artbooks), cette nouvelle saison nommée "Hotel Kolkata" aura notamment en guest star (vocale) l'actrice Tia Carrere.

Vigía Planetario est une websérie argentine indépendante, réalisée en solo par Daniel Duche, que j'avais déjà spotlighté pour son court métrage Furia Estival.
Produit par son studio (solo toujours) Puño Robot pour le compte Youtube de Fierro Revista, ce projet peut être soutenu par les dons des internautes via la plateforme Cafecito.

Nouveau donghua du jour déniché par mes soins : Postman Above the Clouds, un proof of concept pour un projet d'animation chinois porté par Cetus42.
Cette vidéo de 3 minutes - sous intitulée "All About Cetus42" (film pilote ver.1.01) - a été postée en langue chinoise sur Weibo, et aussi avec un doublage japonais sur Youtube.
C'est plutôt très bien fait pour une prod indé, et je souligne qu'il s'agit là encore d'un projet venant d'une scène de jeunes illustrateurs chinois méconnus à l'étranger, comme le sont aussi You Ming Zhi et Koko que je vous ai fait découvrir dernièrement.

Un pilote avait été produit il y a déjà plus de 4 ans, et ce projet verra donc finalement le jour cette année sous forme de mini série de 6 épisodes de 15 minutes, produits par ADN et Toei Animation, pour une sortie pour l'instant prévue en Octobre.
Et il s'agira donc du premier projet original concrétisé du studio, qui depuis 10 ans avait surtout bossé avec talent pour les autres.

L'animatrice américo-coréenne Sonnyé Lim, dont je vous avais déjà parlé plusieurs fois, se lance dans une jolie mini web série indé/personnelle nommée My Mu.
Le 1er épisode d'1min15 est dispo sur Youtube.
My Mu is about a world where plants can become sentient creatures. With a lot of love and care from a human, a radish named Mu was born from their quiet, secluded garden near the woods. Mu was loved so much, that they developed a special power which brings happiness to the plants around them.
The forest where Mu lives is enchanted. There are so many strange and wonderful creatures that live there. What will Mu discover?
