Ce n'est pas de l'animation, mais ça parle d'animation : Anime Supremacy! est un futur film live japonais de Kohei Yoshino adapté du roman japonais "Anime Haken !" de Mizuki Tsujimura.

L'histoire d'une réalisatrice d'animation débutante qui travaille sur son premier anime, en concurrence dans le même studio avec un autre anime dirigé par un réalisateur senior.

Le film est produit par Toei, et le plus fou c'est que ces derniers ont publié 3 trailers : celui du film live, et aussi un trailer pour chacun des 2 animes réalisés par les personnages en question du film ("Soundback: Kanade no Ishi" & "Unmei Sensen Liddell-Light"). A voir si ces deux séries animées existeront bien, ce qui serait une belle prouesse "transmedia".







Le roman (illustré par les CLAMP) n'est pas disponible en France, mais a été traduit en anglais par l'éditeur Vertical. Le pitch du livre (qui n'est donc pas forcément le même que le film) :
