Dans la filmographie du regretté Osamu Kobayashi (Beck, Paradise Kiss), disparu prématurément en 2021, se trouve un court métrage méconnu, puisque jamais sorti, jusqu'à aujourd'hui : Hypersonic Music Club.
Réalisé en 2017, ce court est basé sur le webcomic écrit par Patrick Macias - qui vient de mettre à dispo le film sur son blog - et dessiné par Mitsume.
Ce petit film de 7 minutes avait aussi Takashi Mukouda comme character designer / directeur de l'animation, et des animateurs comme Hisashi Mori, Mitsuo Iso & Yoshimichi Kameda.
