Annoncé depuis longtemps par le CITIA / Festival d'Annecy (partenaire du projet initié il y a 10 ans), la Cité Internationale du Cinéma d'Animation devrait enfin ouvrir ses portes en 2025 dans la ville d'Annecy (aux Haras).

Un lieu qui sera doté d'une nouvelle salle de projection et de différents espaces destinés à accueillir événements, résidence d'artistes, expositions, boutiques... Ce projet se veut être un "hub" culturel à l'image de la Cinémathèque Française par exemple, et donc ici pour l'Animation.
