Encore une animation que j'extirpe d'Instagram, avec cette amusante parodie d'ET par Sergio Martins (superviseur anim sur "Klaus").

Une séquence en Flash qui date déjà d'une douzaine d'années, mais qu'il n'a partagé qu'hier seulement. Il s'agissait d'une commande pour un projet (non précisé) du chanteur Tom Delonge, avec qui pour rappel Sergio (et son frère) avaient déjà collaboré sur le beau film musical "Poet Anderson" que j'avais à l'époque pas mal poussé (et même projeté au cinéma pour la première - et sans doute unique - fois en France, des années avant sa mise en ligne).

A really weird one from somewhere around eleven or twelve years ago. Tom Delonge asked me to create a parody animation of ET discovering his shiny finger powers for a product launch he was doing at the time.
The directions were something like: make it funny dumb pathetic silly awkward (can't remember the exact wording)

I animated it in Flash, which felt pretty limited next to the 2D tools we have today. The whole thing took about three or four weeks from start to finish.

It's interesting to look back and see how many things I'd do differently nowadays.
