Quelques images de "Light Pillar" (Han Ye Deng Zhu), un long métrage d'animation chinois visiblement terminé mais dont quasiment aucune information n'est pour l'instant dispo, l'existence du film n'ayant été révélée discrètement qu'aujourd'hui via un ajout de dernière minute par le festival de la Berlinale au sein d'une de ses sélections.

Il s'agit du premier long métrage de Xu Zao, qui avait déjà réalisé il y a quelques années le moyen métrage documentaire "No Changes Have Taken In Our Life", mais signé à l'époque sous un autre nom (sans doute son vrai), Xu Jingwei.
Le film est produit par Fengduan Film (et l'acteur/cinéaste Da Peng).

In the winter of 2033, in a nearly deserted film and television city in northern China, Lao Cha, a cleaning staff of the film and television city who has been single for many years, is lonely and has only a stray cat to depend on him. Lao Cha got a VR device as salary. He met Sister Li in the virtual world, but in the end he discovered that in the real world, Sister Li turned out to be a little boy. The film and television city on the verge of bankruptcy has also ushered in its final fate. A bombing scene will be filmed here to blow up the entire film and television city.
