Il y a quelques jours je vous parlais de The Customized Play, projet de long-métrage indépendant sud-coréen de 90min réalisé par Jin Sung Choi avec une équipe de quelques personnes seulement.

Aujourd'hui, j'ai le plaisir de relayer le trailer tout juste mis en ligne, et assez sublime :



Synopsis : Chun Jaeyoung and Chun Yusun visit the unusual drama company, which produces the customized play for each client. They ask the boss of troupe to make the play for their father, Chun Jongsik having a 70th birthday. The boss creates the customized play having interviews with their father and his acquaintances. In the play, Chun Jongsik experiences fiction and truth from the past so that he realizes what he has done and what he has been feeling sincerely,and eventually faces the trauma that has harassed himself.

Je vous avais déjà fait découvrir son travail ici et sur Nolife (Entering the mind through the mouth ...). Un artiste au style assez surprenant, avec des décors de toute beauté alliés à une 3D cellshading vraiment originale. Son expérience dans le jeu-vidéo se ressent, en espérant que son long-métrage tiendra la route.
