Surprenante et étrange découverte que Tale of Rebellious Stone, un court métrage chinois réalisé par NG Kai Chung et NG Tsz Ching au sein du studio indépendant hong-kongais Paperbox Creations. Le film est long (13min) et un peu malsain (attention il y a même du sesque), mais le soin apporté à la réalisation et à l'animation est à saluer, avec un forte influence nippone, cela m'a même parfois un peu rappelé l'esthétique des films de Satoshi Kon.

Synopsis :
A stone, with its speckless surface carved and polished by believes and rules.
Yet the core is raw.
As it's touched and tampered, the wild temperament flares and tries to break loose.
The untamed nature is starting to take hold.
