Ça me fait plaisir de voir de plus en plus de projets animés japonais sur Kickstarter. Et aujourd'hui c'est au tour de Masahiro Ando (réalisateur du film Sword of the Stranger) de faire appel aux fans avec son nouveau projet Under the Dog. Il s'agit pour l'instant d'un OAV (direct to video) de 24min, mais si l'objectif explose, d'autres épisodes sont prévus. Les studios impliqués sont Kinema Citrus et Orange Co., le script est signé Jiro Ishii, avec Yuusuke Kozaki au chara-design, le tout produit par Hiroaki Yura (Creative Intelligence Arts).
