Et puis tant que j'y suis, je pointe aussi un autre projet jeunesse du studio français La Chouette Compagnie : Tinbots, également créé par Sylvain Dos Santos.
Cette fois ci, c'est le tout aussi talentueux Bill Otomo qui signe la bible graphique, et les visuels sont alléchants (tout comme pour Droners que j'avais déjà évoqué).
Ce projet là n'est en revanche pas encore en développement avec une chaîne.
Le pitch :
In the techno-realm of OZBAUM, everyone enjoys EMERALD CITY’s TIN’FIGHTS a great deal. These spectacular fights between robots draw larger crowds every time.
Far from Emerald City’s major league, DOROTY, LEON and OSCAR are the undisputed Tin’fights’ champions of KANSACITY. Their small township may be better known for its pumpkins than its dreadful TIN’BOTS but they don’t really care! This year, the three friends will be taking a shot at the YELLOW BRICK CHALLENGE, the biggest Tin’fight competition that ever was.
With their Tin’bits OZMA and PUMPKIN HEAD, they hop on the famous yellow-paved road, ready to face the fiercest opponents. After all, the winners will be granted an entrance to the legendary Emerald City, and the privilege to meet with its rulers, the mysterious MAGICIANS!
