La société de production française Iliade & Films (Manon Messiant & Juliette Marquet) m'a fait parvenir le pilote d'un très beau projet de spécial TV de 26 min : Keiko et le monde flottant (Keiko and the Floating World).

Il est réalisé par Florent Grattery, ancien de l'ENSAD dont je vous avais déjà parlé pour sa participation à En sortant de l'école ainsi que ses clips Seven Tides (Why Mud) et Héros de la ville (The Pirouettes).

Ce projet est co-écrit avec Romy Coccia di Ferro, et il est présenté cette semaine au festival pro du Cartoon Forum.

L'histoire prends place au Japon, en 2011, après la catastrophe de Fukushima. Le projet est donc porté en langue japonaise.





Synopsis :

2011. Fukushi­ma. Keiko’s life is turned upside down when her friends are swal­lowed by a tsuna­mi. Two years lat­er, she still can­not achieve clo­sure. The for­mer trawler cap­tain sets out for the quar­an­tined area, con­vinced that her friends are still alive.

2011. Fukushima. La vie de Keiko bascule lorsque ses amis sont engloutis par le tsunami. Deux ans plus tard, incapable de faire le deuil, l’ancienne capitaine de chalutier s’embarque pour la zone de quarantaine, persuadée qu’ils sont encore en vie.
